PROINSO to donate photovoltaic supplies thanks to Solar Energy Solidarity social media campaign
The goal of this campaign is to turn the users’ solar energy votes into solar PV supplies donated by PROINSO to PV solidarity projects in underprivileged areas. SOLAR ENERGY SOLIDARITY is a social action to be available until January 12 on PROINSO’s Facebook pages in Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, the United States and Canada.
Users who visit the company’s Facebook pages are just a click away from contributing 1 watt of real energy. Besides, they will be able to give their opinions or share their ideas on the future development of PV solidarity projects.
The Watts added with users’ clicks will become PV supplies to be donated by PROINSO for the development of one or more PV facilities featuring the accumulated watt peak power.
At PROINSO they invite web users to join the Solar Energy Solidarity campaign, highlighting that energy is “a vital element to meet people’s basic needs, provide services, upgrade farming practices, and help improve quality of life.”

PROINSO STORE (http://store.proinso.net/) is to operate in the USA, Germany, Spain, and Italy at first, where it will sell products from Canadian Solar, REC, SMA, and Trina Solar.The multinational company’s new tool will be available to the 1,812 Qualified Installers in the International Network as well as to all the companies and individuals wanting to purchase PV products.
The online store will be permanently updated for new products and prices, offering discounts that will vary with the purchased quantity and special discounts to Qualified Installers.
Purchase orders placed on PROINSO STORE can be extended, modified or cancelled, according to what customers agree with the PROINSO sales department. Thus, when customers make online offer requests, they only complete the purchase after accepting the offer.

PROINSO has delivered by British renewable energy solution provider BritishEco, consisting of 50 kW in modules and inverters installed and commissioned in 6 days, in a PV solar facility in Leicestershire, Great Britain. The order included Canadian solar 235 CS6P modules and SMA Tripower inverters.

PROINSO has delivered the first order placed by British renewable energy solution provider RenEnergy, consisting of 560 kW in modules and inverters to be installed in a PV solar facility in Suffolk, Great Britain.
The order included eight PV roof mounting systems that will produce 637,687 kWh for Frederick Hiam Ltd, a farming and vegetable packing business established over a hundred years ago.
The company will use 100% power generated by all eight installations in its daily activity.
PROINSO has recently extended its London facilities, adding new offices and a logistics warehouse covering 3,000 sq m.
32 British companies are members of PROINSO’s International Network of Qualified Installers.

With branches in Spain, Germany, Greece, Italy, Italia, the USA, the UK, France, China, and the Czech Republic, in September PROINSO reached 1,000 MW in the supply of modules and inverters around the world since its inception in 2005. By supplying 1.4 MW in modules and inverters to a roof installation for Madrid-based Wintersun (Spain), the company went beyond 1 GW in total supplies so far.
This record high for the sector was hit after totalling 197.75 MW in the supply of SMA inverters and REC, Trina, and Canadian Solar modules around the world from January to September 2011.
Spain, Italy, Great Britain, and the USA are PROINSO’s main markets in 2011. The company’s International Network of Qualified Installers has 1,743 members whose sales have helped PROINSO reach 1 GW in supplies.

PROINSO - specialising in distribution of modules, inverters, trackers and fixed structures for solar photovoltaic installations – has extended its London base with new offices and a new 3000 sqm logistics warehouse.PROINSO has already been on the British market for months, but with its new larger London offices the company aims to reinforce its market footprint in the UK, where some thirty qualified installers already form part of its International Network.
PROINSO UK forecasts reaching a 10% share of total sales in the United Kingdom by 2012.
The new London base joins the list of PROINSO offices in Spain, Germany, Greece, Italy, the USA, Canada, China and the Czech Republic.
Its International Network of Qualified Installers currently includes 1,695 member companies worldwide.
PROINSO is set to attend the Solar Power Conference to be held from 26-28 October in Birmingham, where it will be presenting TRINA and SMA’s latest developments together with the products it normally distributes.

17 MECASOLAR solar installations located on properties in southwestern Ontario and on Manitoulin Island
The SunField projects consist of 17 MECASOLAR solar installations located on properties in southwestern Ontario and on Manitoulin Island.Each installation consists of a dual-axis MECASOLAR tracker, an 10 kW photovoltaic array of REC 230PE Poly-crystalline panels, and two 5Kw SUNNY BOY SB 5000 US inverters.
Each SunField will generate approximately $15,000 in revenues per year and creates an extra revenue stream for local landowners.

The construction partners for the SunField projects were reputable and experienced firms, Advanced Green Tecnhology (AGT) and Penguin Power.
All SunField systems were commissioned by June 2011.

TRINA introduced to PROINSO Country Managers and a group of customers their new roof mounting system TrinaMount I and TrinaMount II. It is compatible with different types of roof. PROINSO supplies this module structure on the same pallet with TRINA modules, offering the possibility of including or not SMA Inverters.
With this new product included in PROINSO catalogue, complements wide range of PV solutions from the leading systems on the market for both 1-axis, and 2-axis trackers, including Fixed Structures for large plants MECASOLAR, focused on solutions for small installers.

Two projects located in the city of Charakana (Patan District of Gujarat) and another two in Maharashtra District. The four new projects confirm PROINSO´s commitment to enter the Indian solar photovoltaics market, and added to the first sale PROINSO made last month in India for a 2 MW project in the state of Maharastra, Mumbai capital, now make a total supply of 35 MW.
PROINSO and MECASOLAR -member companies, of OPDE Group-, will open an office in India by the end of this year.
Both companies will be attending the forthcoming edition of Intersolar INDIA to be held from 14 to 16 December in Bombay.

PROINSO to supply its first 2 MW project in India
The project is the first sale for PROINSO in the country. With 2 MW of power it locates itself in the state of Maharashtra, of which Bombay is capital. The Spanish multinational specialized in the distribution of modules, inverters, trackers and fixed structures for solar photovoltaic installations, is currently negotiating supply for several solar photovoltaic projects in India in excess of 20 MW in 2011.
PROINSO and MECASOLAR - companies which are members of Grupo OPDE-, will open an office in India by the end of this year.
Both companies- who will be participating from today at Intersolar Europe (Munich. Hall C4, Stand 210) - and will be attending the upcoming edition of Intersolar INDIA to be held from 14 to 16 December in Bombay.
PROINSO have underlined the growth potential of solar energy in India that is expected to reach 10,000 MW in 2020.

PROINSO has become a member of the British Photovoltaic Association (BPVA) in order to reinforce and support the UK industry in the development of the PV market. PROINSO Solar Training School, international training program for installers of photovoltaic solar energy is created
The initiative created and launched onto the market by the multinational PROINSO includes agreements with recognized training schools in Italy, Great Britain, Greece, France, Canada and the United States to access practical and specialized training and, which is in some cases, approved by the state regulations in each country. The courses will allow access to compulsory official certifications to practice as an installer in countries like the U.S. or Italy, where they are needed to carry out this activity.
Seminars and training conferences will be held in different countries given by personnel from PROINSO , manufacturing companies and companies forming part of its International Network of Qualified Installers. Germany, Greece, France, Italy and the United States will host the first scheduled conferences.
The initiative is aimed at 1,480 qualified installers integrated into the PROINSO International network.
