PROINSO Recognised for 2MW Solar Project Supporting NetZero Goals in Vietnam
In 2025, PROINSO Group was acknowledged for its role in a landmark 2MW solar energy project for Golden Star Company Limited, a key textile manufacturer based in Hai Phong City, Vietnam. This initiative forms part of Golden Star’s journey towards NetZero emissions, driven by Stella Group, one of its major clients, aiming to tackle Scope 3 emissions across its supply chain.
“This project demonstrates how renewable energy can transform industrial sectors,” said Robert Forrest, Managing Director for Southeast Asia at PROINSO. With advanced solar technology and strategic sustainability planning, the installation helps reduce operational costs and enhances the use of clean energy in Vietnam’s textile industry.
Key components include Jinko Solar modules, Clenergy structures, and SMA CORE2 inverters, with EPC services by H2T Hanoi and project development led by ETIAM Insights – KIVN (Kaizen Institute Vietnam).
This solar project not only boosts energy efficiency but also sets a benchmark for sustainable practices in the region—making PROINSO a contender for The Energy Awards 2025, which honour innovation and impact in the global energy sector.
