The UK Government offers grants to encourage the broader use of electric and hybrid vehicles
We are delighted to inform you that the SMA EV Chargers 7.4 and 22 have qualified for the UK Government’s Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) and have been added to the OLEV Approved EVHS ChargePoint model list.
The SMA EV Charger charges electric vehicles quickly, safely and economically with solar energy from the customer’s own roof. Users can control the charging process conveniently with their smartphone via the new user-friendly SMA Energy App.
You need to be authorised by OLEV and certified by the manufacturer to install a charging station
CERTIFICATION PROCESS
- You need to check the guidance and application forms of OLEV before installing any charging stations.
- Certification to install a charging solution like the SMA EV Charger is mandatory. Installers can attend the webinar about the SMA EV Charger, which will give them all the knowledge they need to complete the certification.
